making buffalo wings?

So many versions of this recipe ... anyone have a good one?

What kind of hot sauce do you use (in Sweden)?

This is a good one

Tried and true http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/buffalo_wings/

I use tabasco and add a bit of smoked paprika to the recipe.

All you need to make the buffalo wing sauce is butter and Frank's hot sauce. Put more Frank's in until desired hotness. If you like it with even more bite, add a bit of tabasco.

In my view you don't need to add any other spices, hot pepper, or what have you.

For cooking the wings, deep fry them if you can (as opposed to baking).

Agreed on the recipe, but for two years I never found 'Franks' in Sweden. Have you seen it? We always stocked up on vacations in the States to take back with us, but I would have rather tapped into a regular supply over in Sweden.

Nope, many years here and I've never seen "Frank's". That's why I asked what people here used???

How are things Stateside? I'd give anything to live in the US again, anything.

"Frank's" was sent to me and customs said it was banned and sent it back. No further infomation, could have been something as simple as a food color used.

I saw Franks Hot Sauce in City Gross the other day, so it is slowly becoming directly available in Sweden.

Our local ICA Maxi carries Franks hotsauce... most ICA and COOP stores seem to have american sections these days, eventhough they are sometimes hard to find. You'll find many fun things there!
