I've been in Sweden for 14 months, and have worked for 2 months before being laid off. I want to go to Arbetsförmedlingen - sponsored - job training. However, I need to pay the bills. Would I qualify for anything more than the 232 kr/day? I'm not a refugee or anything like that.
I have a feeling i'm up a creek med inte någon paddle.

you have to work 6 months to get benefits and that is more true if you are with a union, if non-union you can get social benefits... but you didnt remain employed long enough.
232 SEK a day is more than I get on Disability at 100:- a day
