"Haggle" car prices?
Hi all,
I'm about to buy a used car and was wondering if the car dealerships (not private sellers) expect you to haggle on the price. For example, if there's a car listed for 26,000 SEK, can you offer 24,000 SEK (or lower) to begin a negotiation, or will they look at you like you're crazy?
Thanks!

Well it is not expected, but unlike for new cars they wouldn't look at you like you're crazy. In other words it is worth a try but may not work.
And it can work fro ne cars to, altough it is easier to get something added for free than to get them to cut the price.

Going off what JanBalk said, I have a friend who bought a used VW Golf a year or two ago. He said they ended up getting a slight discount, plus a free set of winter tires as well. So I guess it's worth a try!
