Amerikanska is designed for ages 13 and up. Noone under the age of 13 may obtain a Profile without e-mail consent from a parent or guardian. The parent/guardian must have a Profile at Amerikanska first and e-mail me with permission for the child to obtain a Profile and participate on this site.

Any Profiles found that are created by anyone 12 or under without prior parental consent will be removed immediately.

This rule is in place because the purpose of this site is primarily Americans moving to/living in Sweden, and noone of this age would be moving here without an adult. It is also in place to protect children's personal information on the web.

Parents - Look around the site, particularly places like the "Extra Strength" forum (viewable by members only) before allowing your child to join. The Extra Strength forum may contain discussions that contain possibly offensive language and/or be of a mature nature (not X-rated, but still geared for adults only). There is no way to block this for specific individuals. So if you choose to allow your child to join, they will have access to this forum.
